Skopunkten is Sweden’s most popular low prize shoe reseller. There are 45 Swedish and five Norwegian stores. I and a group of Hyper Island students was approach to create a design and functionality concept for the update of their Norwegian e-commerce site.
Role in the project
- Project manager with account and strategy responsibilities.
- Lead a group of two designers and two developers.
The brief
- Produce a layout and design concept for www.skopunkten.no
- Suggest more and new functionality for the e-commerce solution.
- Present a campaign suggestions promoting the website.
Solution
We set out to create a tool that helps costumers take part of Skopunktens offers and make sure that they get value for their money. Buy 3 pay for the price of 2 was the campaign that made the brand successful and of course we felt it was important to keep on communicating the same message through visual design and smart functionality.
The goal is to increase the credibility of the store through improved design. The site should be visually appealing more than anything else and through that radiate simplicity and effectivity. Convenience and functionality was of the essence. We needed to make sure that the site was simple and logical to use, while simultaneously recognizes and treats customers as individuals with their own diverse needs.
