Privacy policies all over
Blog: December 15th, 2007
Me and a couple friends (aka. Duke) are working on a nice little campaign for a client with a very tight connection to the Eurovision Song Contest.
The core campaign consist of neat Facebook application which hopefully is gone be the hot thing in Sweden sometime around new years and the following months. The content inside the application and the facebook pages connected to it is a mixture mobile phone technology and services like blip.tv and flickr.com.
To get a overview of things I spent yesterday evening reading through Facebooks Platform Application Terms of Use, the Facebook Principles, blip.tv’s and flickr.com’s privacy policies. I’m still a bit dizzy and amazingly enough even still a bit bored. It did however felt good to be able to answer our clients every questions and to get a grip of what needs to be added to the applications privacy policy to make sure that they stay out of legal troubles.
The past week has been pretty much all about paper work. For Duke I’ve been writing on our first consultancy agreement, a project description and a delivery consignment. In school I’m working hard a on formulating a branding platform and strategy for our ongoing module Visual Communication. The thing is, I really like it. It feels good to together with friends, colleges or classmates, come up with a really nice idea and then put it in writing in away that conveys the original thought behind it.
I’ll keep you posted on the progress of our Facebook adventure. Update: See the result
